In 2023, the second season, “Exploring the Origins of Chinese Civilization”, broke geographical boundaries, traveling to major archaeological provinces such as Shaanxi, Henan, Hunan, and Sichuan. It decoded the five defining characteristics of Chinese civilization through twelve cultural archetypes, earning widespread acclaim. The third season will continue the guiding principle of the previous seasons—”bringing cultural relics to life”—adopting a deeper, more museum-quality documentary approach to unveil the legendary history and traces of time behind the artifacts, ensuring they resonate with the present.

This season maintains the core focus on museum culture, delving into institutions across the country and using digital technology to reveal the historical stories behind precious artifacts.

The production fully employs 4K ultra-high-definition technology, combining high-precision artifact modeling with virtual reality to achieve multidimensional presentations of intricate details.

By leveraging 4K ultra-HD technology, the show constructs virtual exhibition spaces and uses 3D panoramic scanning to create digital replicas of national treasures that cannot be loaned out, offering TV audiences an immersive experience beyond physical visits.
