Pan Universe

This film serves as debut in the world releasing exclusively the unique and precious images and motions of the Guizhou Golden Monkey, China (Rhinopithecus roxellanae brelichi Thomas). Before this, the audience has never seen the mysterious, noble, beautiful and lovely image of this species –with their big eyes, snub nose, thick lips, long tail, soft and pure fur and playful characters. This is the first time that China's scientific research station has publicly released images of Guizhou Golden Monkey population taken by infrared triggered cameras over the years. It was also the first time that China Media Group （formerly known as CCTV） team used 4K ultra-high-definition video equipment to capture Golden Monkey activity in the wilderness, when they boarded the Fanjing Mountain 6 times. All images in this film are original.

There are five species of Golden Monkey in the world, three of which are unique to China. All of them are listed on the IUCN Red List of Endangered Species Ver3.1 -- 2012. And amongst the three species, Guizhou Golden Monkey are the rarest and most precious – the total population of less than 800 in the world, and they are called "the only child of the mother Earth". What makes it more precious is the fact that the Guizhou Golden Monkey lives only in the Fanjing Mountains of Guizhou Province, China. And therefore, without surprise, Fanjing Mountains was inscribed on the World Natural Heritage List at the 42nd World Heritage Conference in 2018.
